arent Kimonos expencive

depends on what you get and where you get it. the simple answer is they can be. But then again so can kilts. And I already have a kimono

Or you can go get one at a thrift shop for $10. It was polyester tho...:-/

I dont have a picture of it. It is real silk and it was a birthday present. I know it wasnt horrendously priced but then again it is very plain. Simple black. I also know my parents spent three days trying to find it for me. Hopefully I can find an obi for it over spring break.

its the part you wrap around the kimono to keep it shut. Right now I tend to wear the kimono open. they can be very decorative and very pretty.

its traditional japanese clothing for both genders. so, yes a guy can wear one. Actually I think originally the one I have might have been meant for a guy. Doesnt stop it from fitting well or being comfortable though.:)
