Question about Nats airport
 

Our teams have never flown to a Nationals and I was wondering about a few things. How did teams get from the airport to their hotels for the Championship in Houston and when it was at Disney? Were there FIRST shuttles provided? Did teams get their own transportation? Shuttles from the hotels? Thanks for your help.

We rented vans to drive from the airport to the hotel. We like the flexibility that having our own transportation provides. We've rented 2 big 15 passenger vans some years, and 4 or 5 minivans other years.

Our team rented a bus to take us to the hotel and then we relied on transportation to the competition provided by FIRST (This year) and Disney Buses (2002). We also hired the bus again to take us to the airport for when we flew home.

We rented our own bus...

470 Rented 3 minivans from Budget Rent-a-Car. Budget provides a free shuttle service from the airport to the Budget station. We all (18 of us?) piled on the bus and then used the minivans to get to the hotel.

1156 rented two 14 passangers vans... as we stood in Houston for almost a week, it was nice... :)
