You've been sitting here on CD, refreshing every minute, and there has only been one post in the last half-hour...

When it only takes 7 minutes to read 11 hours of posts.

My life has shifted from FIRST to my WDW trip.

Wo-ho. Only 80ish more days.

...when when cant figure out wut to do for the next six months
...when u post on delphi almost every day
...when u browse delphi and discover that u are the only user online

...when you check out all the websites from all other teams just because you dont know what else to do

you mean that that doesn happen normally in the season?

what is IRI? :confused:

when you actually pay attention in school (not after today though :D)

when you can look at the gas mailage and wonder why its taking so long for it to go up since there is no longer robotics meeting

When you go find something else to do...
...like go outside and witness that the sun actually does exist.

... when your focus has shifted from your team to starting a new team(s) around the area.

... when you have been trying for a month to recruit your engineers to go to IRI.

... when you can't wait 'til IRI! :D

...when your old habits of getting on CD (first thing when you wake up, between classes, after classes, and three times in the evening - once before bed) are broken because you've already replied to everything you'd want to talk about.

...when your parents, coworkers, siblings, and friends all tell you that they've heard enough about IRI... so you go talk to a FIRST friend about it because you know they'll understand your enthusiasm.

...when threads like these start popping up because some FIRSTers don't know how to handle the off-season. :p

...when you get excited because 12 people actually replied to this post

...when you can actually read everything on CD instead of just skimming

...when you refresh the "new posts" search page repeatedly, hoping someone will post something for you to read

...when all you get emails about is demos
...when all you get emails about is IRI
...when all you can think about is IRI

...people start posting "You know it's the off-season when..." threads... and people are actually replying to them.

...when you get really, really bored EVERY day because you don't have anything to do after school anymore but go on CD :P...

....when you are no longer suffering from sleep deprivation(staying at the autoshop from 8 am until 2 am of the nest day for days on end during the build season, and before and during comps)

.....when you actuly skip robotics meetings for "other" things!

...when for some reason, you don't know why, you just don't feel like being on CD as much as you used to and you end up spending that time on things that you did before you joined robotics. Ex. Computer/Video Games. (Yup, that's me alright.)

...when it just took you 5 minutes to read all the new posts on CD, and type this response.

When the days biggest even on CD is DJ's b-day.

..and you are so incredibly bored from not enough Robotics interaction.... that you sit on CD all night.... talk to DJ for about 2 hours on AIM... and are so dense you completely didn't even realize it was his birthday!

...when you log in close to 24 hours after you were last here and some threads are still the same.
...when you log in close to 24 minutes sfter you were last here and the word association is still the same.

...there are 27 users online, but only 4 posts in the last hour.

...and they were all in Chit-chat.

... when your friends actualy notice that your hanging out with them again.
... when you can stay out till 4 in the morning on the weekends cuz your not to tired from a robotics event or your not required to wake up early and goto robotics.
... You actualy have money because you have time to goto work.
... You discuss IRI with everyone involved on a regular basis.
... You realize you cant drive the robot anymore and get extremely despressed for awhile.
... You realize how much you got behind in school and spend alot of time making up papers that you slacked off on.
... You realize school is almost over.

It's 1:53 AM EST (computer clock), and you realize your the only FIRST-a-holic who is on Delphi from the east coast! wow!.. I should really go to sleep... 5 users.. and they are all 1-3 hours behind me in the world!

...when most of the posts are in the chit chat forum

...when you find yourself lying on the floor in silent contemplation the ceiling

When its been this long since the last post.

When you can post the next day an have back to back posts.

When you go through the entire Who Am I? gallery to see who has the most views... and then forget who it was...

or when you do it with who uploaded the biggest picture

when even the chit-chat forum is dead.
