Why octagons instead of Neunagons?

For those that don't get the reference, 148's 2008 robot Tumbleweed was a Neunagon due to a pun being made with one of their mentors' names and the geometric shape it was based on.

Didn't you read Eric's small text, and if not why aren't you reading your script?


This might help some of you out. The shape of the robot was a nonagon http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/30601 But due to the fact that we all make jokes, someone called it a nuenagon because one of 148's mentors is John-V-Nuen.;)
