Oohhh, is that what they use? That makes sense...I've just never herad of one. How do you set it up, orient it to north and let it always self correct itself to how many degrees its off from north?

Exactly by mounting the gyroscope in a gymbol it allows it to allwas point in the same direction while its moving. In fact they are also able to determine roll and pitch.

Alright guys, lets make a list of all the possible/feasible ways to get our location in the long-range scheme, then prioritize them.

PS the compass is a gyro,
Thats why I gave Supplier, Part #, and page #
this is to give everyone an opportunity to check out components
and develop resources.
