Buttons
First, how can you make a button look 3D like?
Second, you know in programs, you have tabs? How can i make some of those, except ones that overlap and have diagonal edges on the right side... (I know, really bad description, ignore this one if you want). Third/Last, in Photoshop, if you select an area and paint bucket it, how can you get it so it's the same as a paint bucket in paint, with it fully coloring the inside of the selection (and only the inside). Or if you delete a selection, it fades the area around the selection too. Anyway, any of these questions being answered would be very happy. thanks |

- in photoshop you want to go into blending options. There you can use shadows and a couple other tools. to get into the blending options right click on the layer u want to manipulate and select blending options. I'm not sure what version of P-shop you are using but you can go to layer>layer properties (or maybe it's layer options or layer stlye) > bevel and emboss to make it look 3D. That is how I did the text on the header image here www.team696.org/forum/

Re: Buttons
for the selection (and how it fades around it when you delete the interior), check and make sure you have Feather set to 0px for the selection tool - this is the radius around it which is fades, with 0 meaning strictly the actual selection.
