5 cylinders, 4 electronic valves

Has anyone heard if we can have 5 electronic valves on the robot? 4 electronic valves and 1 manual valve came in the kit. We ARE allowed 5 cylinders.
We've written the FRC engineers but haven't gotten a responce back.
Any help would be appreciated :)

Don't count on it...

I suppose that you have to live with fewer valves than cylinders.

It is not so crazy. Many teams make a gripper that has 2 valves plumbed in parallel. One for the right finger, one for the left.

Better than last year...

We had 5 cylinders, and only 3 valves last year. Be glad you have that extra one...

4 this year, the three from SMC(same as last year), and then one beast of a valve from Festo. Check the parts list in the Pneumatics Manual...
