Hello all..

Well.. thanks to the generious (sp??) donation by www.bookdomain.net , I have registered http://firstscouting.org

This domain will point to the Fluid VPS ( http://66.150.197.156/ )

I am working on the other two domains (fs.org and firstscouting.net) Those two will point to the VO dedicated server.

Please note: It will take up to 48 hours for the domain to go through "the system" ;) Therefore, www.firstscouting.org won't work for a while.

Surprisingly, ***.org IS available. I'd suggest you hurry up and get it. What do you mean by "working on" though? It aint hard to register them. If you're trying to get them free, I'd suggest you just pay for them from bookdomain. It'd be easier for admistration... though that'd be minimal. Eh, do whatever you want to do. I'd be happy to donate. I'm sure you could get lots of donations to support FSN if you set up a pay pal account or something.

well.. actually.. I have $10 sitting in a PayPal account right now. However, because i don't have a "verfied" account (ie: one with a credit card), i can't send it to anyone.

I guess getting a paypal account set up just for fsn is an idea. however, i'm guessing it would take a rather long process to get FSN an account in which money could be sent with out a credit card.

and "working" means that I'm trying to contact some other people to see if they would be willing to donate.

I guess thought if someone would be willing to donate the other one or two domains, that would work also. (standard message) If anyone donates a domain to FSN for one year, in exchange, they would be listed at the bottem of every page as a sponsor anlong with a link to their site and they also will be listed on the sponsors page, with a small logo and text. (/)

Anywho.. as least for me, the domain http://www.firstscouting.org has allready gone through. However, it may take your isp up to 72 hours for it to work.

Problems?
 

Both sites worked fine for me at school 3 hours ago, but I haven't been able to get to ether one from home I get an error message saying it can't find the server. Any ideas as to whats wrong and how to fix it.

For a little freaky history, everything worked fine about a week ago!
