Continue the Story Game
 

I was at a family reunion at my grandparents' house in the Washington D.C. area. The power went out at night for about three hours and we had about 20 adults and about 10 to 15 kids. We wanted everybody to stay together so we had to play a game that would keep everyone entertained without electricity since the little kids don't like ghost stories. This is the game that we came up with. I was thinking that we could try it on Chiefdelphi.

Someone starts a story by setting the scene. Each person after that adds to the story with something funny happening to the main character or setting up a funny situation. It doesn't always have to be funny, but that is what makes it fun. Try to limit your post to a sentence or two and end your post with a complete sentence, no finish the sentence stuff. When we played in the house, we sat in a circle and went clockwise, but that doesn't work here so I will start and whoever wants to post can post an addition to the story. Lets see if this works and I don't care if they already tried this.
