Majic - David Blaine

Okay, I was watching David Blaine doing street majic on TV tonight. I already know that what I saw he actually did - as in created the illusion. There are no effects or anything so let's not debate that.

With all of our creative minds here in FIRST, we should be able to figure out how he and others do some of the tricks. We are some of the best thinkers anywhere and if anyone can figure it out it would be us FIRSTers.

So, let's all make some educated hypotheses of how some of these illusions are created.

Remeber in addition to him doing something, as you said its going to be on TV, so the angles that the cameras are filming him at have something to do with it. Like on a prevoius special I saw with that levitating thing he does, he always has his back to the camera, and the camera never moves around to the front. Just something to think about:D

Blainetology! No! If he gets tax exempt status, he'll officially be a religion! Super Best Friends go!

(sorry about that, continue)

I know how quite a few of those are done. I can even do some of them. But David Blaine is definately the awesomest (an official Eddieism) slight-of-hand artist in the world, maybe even history.

mgreenley 24-06-2003 14:47

I'm sure Brandon really meant these people
:D

I can't help it, I'm naturally nosy

EddieMcD 24-06-2003 14:53
