Brandon,
How come when I am logged into CD and I click on the chat button I am taken to a page that says this -"You must have an account on ChiefDelphi.com to participate in the chat. Register here."

Does it have something to do with my settings???
I think I may have asked this before but I just wrote it off on my end......

Just out of curiousity, are you using cookies to remember your login or not? It seems like when the chat was first put into place, anyone who wasn't using cookies to log in was having this problem...

Browser Internet Explorer 5
(on all computers I use)

Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)
NO

Browse board with cookies?
YES

So that answers your questions, now what's wrong with the chat when I try to use it????

Try changing the 'Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)' option to Yes, and try it.

Make sure you're logged in before you go to the chat, also.

Other than that, I'll have to look into it when I have more time...
But try those two things first, and let me know.
