Yea...I got paired w. TyTuS!! (which I might add, is a bit weird cuz he was already considered my "boyfriend" and I his "gurlfriend"), but cool none-the-less.
This was a really cool thing to do and a great way to meet new people on other teams. In a way, it brings all the teams together somehow (like the different team members of different teams)...so next year, @ competitions all the teams will be closer!!! (I know I just sounded like a complete dork just then, but it was my revelation I just had about this thing so bare with me...:) :) )
But back to who I was paired with...I have no complaints. We are weirdly alot alike! (I know...crazy!) But wow, if we lived closer...there would be some CrAzY and interesting times we would have. :D (you know what I'm talking about TyTuS)

Hey guys, this is going great. The next step would be considering some way of meeting people (or your match) at National or our off-season competition, Bash at the Beach (if your team goes). Does anyobdy have any good ideas?

Wow, there must be something in the water down in Stuart, FL. Out of all hte applications I have gotten, almost 1/4 are coming from teams SPAM and Swamp Thing. Thanks guys, keep it up!!!

whatever your reason for using the service is, i garuantee that there are many others who submitted thinking the same thing. whether it's to meet new people to just to talk to about robotics, or to actually look for a love intrest who you share something big with- like F.I.R.S.T.

i asked earlier about anyone who had any good ideas about how to use the service at nationals or regionals or off-season competitions. for example, would you sign up somewhere looking for your match, and be able to see if your match was looking for you, too?? if anybody has any good ideas, post 'em.

I think you should have a Booth at a comp where on thursday you sing up ,that night decide your matches,and on friday you go out and physcaly introdice them to each other

after the 'introductin' the couple is tied to each other! this will give you a way to evaluate your matching process, allow the dates to become more familiar with each other, and in the event of a bad match, provide entertainment for the crowds!

Hello all, I hope this post finds everyone well

I have a bit of news. Starting tomorrow (the 11th) I will be becoming very busy and won't have much time for pairing people and working Robotics Romance as faithfully as I have. I pondered the idea of shutting it down for a while, but then it hit me- Christina! Known to many as Greeneyes13, she is one of my good friends and is a hardworking Techno Tick. So, if you now would like to send any of your questionnaires in, send them to her.

Also, don't worry if you've already sent yours in to me and haven't been paired yet- I'm sending all the singles I have to her as well. Good Luck and have fun!!

Krunch had a meeting wenesday and i wanted to be there <(thats going to be my new thing now)

I got 75 miles up 1-95 into indan river And Busted a TIRE!!, i had to turn back

why not just get out your spare?

because its not good enought to cary me another 165 miles to clearwater, and another 240 back...

Yep, my family's 96 Chrysler Town and Country has a full size spare, but mine ('88 Mazda 929, which ironically is the same car that Tytus has.....except mine is cooler *shot*) has only a donut.

I am very excited about being paired up with Tytus...EVEN THOUGH HE THINKS I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO HIM...he's awesome! We are so much alike, its freaky @ times. We can keep up with each other > with both of us having ADHD < for only seeing him one time @ nat's, we know each other VeRy well I think and can only get better as we see eachother in the future @ different regionals. This was an awesome idea and EvErYbOdY should fo shizzle send in an application ASAP! And ya know, you can't expect anything out of this...cuz if you do, then I have found you'll be disappointed somehow. Just think of it as finding a new friend...and then grow from there. (now don't think I'm just some big pessimist, I'm not...I just don't expect anything so that everything turns out good and unexpected...ya know?!)
I also think the tying up idea is awesome! I wouldn't mind gettin tied up to a really cute guy for a day @ a regional. It would be fun. ;) ok, well I'm super sleepy now...just thought I would comment.

Lets see...

I was paired up with ashley weed, and when i first sent in my application, i was very doubtful that i would find anyone...all of a sudden one day i get a email from whoelse, Ashley! i was blown away that she responded to me first! anywho, the end of school came and went, and i had a summer job to attend to. And it helped me through the summer knowing that i had someone who was out there looking out for me. I also learned of ashleys diseases, and knew she needed someone to shine some love and support when she needed it and felt like giving up. I gave her encouragement and love, and when she was admitted into the hospital in the end of august, i was worried sick. i started a thread asking for prayers, just so that when she returned, she would know that people do care. I was all excited that i would see her when she came down for River Rage, me starting college, it was all going to be a blast. Unfortunatly, things fell through and she was unable to come here.

Now its Sept. 25, and i am pleased to announce that I am going on a road trip down there tommorow to visit my one true love.

More good news...

we are going to be engaged within the next year!
even better news...

Oct. 8th, 2006...Wedding Day!!!

im so excited! The people who set this up are truly miracles of human life... THANK YOU!!!!

As someone who has known Greg for awhile (who knows how long), I've gotten to see this relationship blossom. Congrats Greg!!! (even though I knew awhile ago, didn't I?) I really hope that everything works out better than you could even dream of.
