Im surprised to see so few replies about the rubber chicken keychains we hand out. At FLR I was getting pounced on when i was going around in the chicken suit with a bucket full of them.

my favorite swag would probably be any kind of small keychain that is neat or quirky, or maybe has a small amount of interactivity... though I havent really recieved anything like this.

this year team 549 made specail keychains that we gave to each drive team we played with...they were metal and we milled out " DEVIL DAWGS" on one side, and "549" on the other...people were asking for them, so i assume they went over well.

this isnt for everyone, but 254 gives out their own awards at competitions, i think its kinda cool and fun . We won 254's innovative design award at sacramento this year, were honored with it :).

We (Team 217) used to give out Peeps in little plastic egg shells... that was amazingly awesome. I think we did it at one of the regionals last year (chicago maybe?) and got away with it.

The world of marketing promotions is indeed wide and wonderful. Just Google on "marketing promotions" for tens of thousands of ideas. I think these paddle balls with your team logo would be just the ticket.

By far beach balls !
Team 330 beach bots kept me entertained freshmen year... @ the LA regional i mean there wasn't anything to do so we played with balls ran around the stadium etc.. LOL

At the BAE Systems regional we gave out fortune cookies, and the fortunes were made up by the team. They said things like "this cookie is the perfect cure for a mountain dew overdose" and another had something in binary i think it said team 836. they were pretty popular and we ran out quickly i don't know if thats is from other teams or my own eating them.

TJ Squared gave out nifty tie-died wrist bands last year at SBPLI. It really made the place colorful. :)

There is also an Online Database that's hosted specifically for tracking comprehensive team information that also has a local application component to it. I think the Online Database is pretty cool and it would be especially useful once a lot of teams begin using it. :D The development team of that software also handed out an older version of the software last year at SBPLI.

Our original idea was to give out Alien(our mascot) Lollipops. However, we then found out that we were not allowed to give out food at the competition. A couple weeks ago I was notified that EBGames was going to sponser us. Now we are most likely going to give out EBGames Coupons...

Throw paratrooper army men with 1073 written on their parachutes from the top level of BAE before opening ceremonies on Saturday.

Hey, I actually liked 540's last minute, cheap as all idea of a game. I don't know how they did it, and I don't know if it was any good. Anybody get one at VCU Regionals??
