It scares me so bad to even think about it. I try pulling my bottom eye lid down all the time, but when ever I try pulling up the top eye lid, my finger is so big that it actually pushes it down further. I also tried sort of touching my eye, but I jumped when I felt it.

By the way...Isabel was helping to contribute information, but the last few times I saw her she was wearing glasses and I would assume she wasn't wearing contacts.

Yeah, I got lazy this summer. It's much easier to just roll out of bed in the morning and slap on glasses.

Though I'll have to go back to the contacts when robotics is in full swing again, because my safety glasses won't fit over my normal glasses. No big deal, lack of peripheral vision is starting to bother me anyway.

I just went to the appointment. I couldn't open my eyes wide enough. (of course) He tought me which fingers to use and told me to practice for ten minutes every night until I can actually touch my eye lid. Then, I can try stretching it open.

Also the first thing i did when I got my contacts almost 4 years ago now was the doctor had me were them only for an hour the first time and slowly progress to a full day. And i found that that helped me adjust to having them in.

I am not worried about that because I already use glasses, sometimes. The contacts will be 8x what my glasses were though.

Well thanks everyone for saying this stuff, but I am starting to change my mind. If I do get them though, should I get the colored ones. I heard of people that try to change their eye color. I have blue eyes and I don't know if that looks good or not because I can't see peoples eyes. (unless I get right in their face and look real closely, but I don't think anyone wants me doing that)
dude, believe me, i'd love to get colored contacts. As a matter of fact, I'd actually get white contacts so that it would appear like my eyes were completely white.. however, those suckers go for like $100 a pop, and if you want to wear them everyday, be ready to buck up big bucks.....
