The HOG's are here for Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary Party. Over 400,000 bikers have rolled into Milwaukee during the last week, you can't drive anywhere without seeing Harley's, people are camping out as far west as Oconomowoc and we are throwing a part of our own for them Saturday Night. We'll be parking cars and Harleys and expect to make at least $1000, boy does Milwaukee know how to party ;)

My dad was coming home from work (he works in Oconomowoc, which is about 100 miles south of Appleton) when I got a call from him. He said, "I left the office about an hour ago." So I'm thinking "Oh, well he should be home in about 30 minutes." Then he tells me, "In that hour, I've moved 10 miles." There were so many bikers, it took him more than double the time it normally would for him to get home!

I wish I could've seen it! :)

I caught a piece on the event on TV the other day.. it looks unbelieveable.... they had shots of people linning the streets and laying down on their bikes for naps while waiting.

That’s because the event was this weekend. This is just the lawn in front of the Harley dealer. You wouldn’t believe what the streets of Milwaukee were like…
