Webcam

Hello all,
If I set up a webcam/timelapse video in our robotics room, would anybodybe interested? It would mainly be of us mentoring our 8 or so Lego League teams. I am mainly seeing if there would be interest, and if there is I will talk to the teacher about it.

Thanx,
Kevin

I think the nutrons (125) have done this in the past.

Yes, I've seen a couple on various FIRST team sites, most of which don't work. But it's still an interesting idea. Maybe not all that useful, but interesting.

We're working on setting one up for the upcoming season. I think it's kinda cool to see what other teams are doing.

Hey! Thats a really cool idea.

<scarcasm>how about a live webcam of you desiging / building your bot.

and.. then have some high-res still shots of your design drawings, robot progress, and mabey of your code..

Personally, I don't think I would bother to look at someones website just to see a quick shot of their team. Just doesn't interest me.

However, I think a time-lapse compilation would be neat to see. Say, 1 picture every 20 seconds or so from X:00 - Y:00 [Build times]. Just would show the chaos of the season I think.

Considering there aren't any current ones I know of, I think it would be a great idea. I'd check in whenever I didn't have anything else to do. It could potentially spark some tigerbolt chatting too.

You could also see our DARPA car. We are very open with the projects we are working on.

Thanx for all the responses!
