Can we change this forum?
 

I would like to see the posts in this forum not show up on the "most recent" post list on the main page. This would do a lot to solve the cross-competition posting problems ;)

I am sure the OCCRA people would be happy with this as well, so they don't have to deal with all of our mishap posts :rolleyes:

Perhaps all threads could have OCCRA: before the name.

Or there could be a seperate "OCCRA Latest Threads".

Yeah, the portal entry is definitely misleading because only if you pay attention (which I often don't do), will you notice that you're reading and posting to an OCCRA forum. A few people in recent weeks have made this mistake, resulting in an angry 'wrong forum' reply... and incidentally an announcement.

I wouldn't go there, Rickertson, at least not on the portal page. That would kind of clutter it, no? I like Aignam's Idea of "OCCRA: Can we change this forum?"

that would work best, considering that the OCCRA comp isn't year round.

I too have just become a victom of accidental OCCRA forum posting. I am all for the change. A couple times I even wrote some really great long posts only to see that it was entirly meaningless since the question was for OCRRA.

why not make a seperate OCCRA website? not that hard

Well, the FEDS had proposed to take over the OCCRA forum responsibilities to take the burden off of CD, but due to some uncertainties with the RHS team, we were unable to make that happen this year. I'm sure Jack is still interested in doing that, though, so it might be a possibility for next season.
