Inventor Help
I just got inventor, and No body on my team knows how to use it.
Does anyone know of any good books or websites on Inventor that explain how to use it in a way that would make sense to someone with no experience? |
Definitely go through all the tutorials. There is a book that goes through the tutorials that comes with the Inventor software. IMHO it is way easier to just do the tutorials from the disk, as they guide you step by step and are much easier to follow than the book.

I second Cory's recommendation: do the Inventor tutorials. After doing the tutorials, grab a simple object and model it. Something like a pencil or screw.
Besides Autodesk's, check out the tutorials on Sean Dotson's excellent tutorials page. He goes into a lot more detail and covers everything from beginner through expert stuff (like iParts, animation, etc.). If you get confused or stumped, post here - someone is sure to have an answer. Enjoy! (designing in Inventor is one of the more fun things I do at work) Pete |
I suggest that you check out the following tutorials that were created specifically for FIRST:
