I heard the rumors and saw it, it seems that the Seg will be on FOX on Nov. 2nd on a new TV show at 9pm called Arrested Developement. You can even win one too.

Not any TV, but a crappy FOX program to boot. I read the preview and it sounds extra crappy.

It's publicity none the less. I agree that most of Fox's programming sucks (except The Simpsons of course!), however they are still on the air and many people watch it and can't get enough! So I see it as good promotion and I don't think it will taint the Segway any.

Any kind of TV or Movie promotion for Segway is great! TV really sells items (and not just in commercials). It shows that average ppl should want to use them... and that Segways aren't just for a certain class. They are for everybody.

I've seen one person, your average Joe, using a segway in my home town, and that's it. He was using it because it looked like his foot was slightly deformed, but in any case, he was pretty good at controlling it because it was during a street fair with tons of people.

I don't think Segway will catch on, for a while in anycase, for the average person. It's just not worth it. That doesn't mean I'd take one if offered to me though :p.

FOX is the greatest tv station ever!! I think Dean Kamen should be on the O'Reily Factor!! :D

Anyone remember the episode of Frazier? I don't watch Frazier hardly, but I remember that episode.

The segway will be on the WB tonight that is lower than fox IMO.

I thought the segway looked good on arrested development, I thought the show was really funny as well. Unfortunately FOX didn't bother to buy a segway, they just borrowed it from some local guy.

They did add in a extra "Smashing gear noise" to the segway though :-/

I saw some TV show where they tour the homes of the rich and famus. They did Shaq O'Neil's house and showed him riding a Segway around the house.

Well actually the Segway was on this morning on the FOX News Channel. All I saw was people riding around in a window on Segways as the newscasters talked about Iraq. Then the corniest joke about the segway appeared when the guy started to talk about the next segment that involved holiday gifts. One of the announcers said,"Nice Segway."I

the segway was on the Simpsons about 6 months ago, and Dean Kamen was on the Jay Leno show about a week or two after the Segway was revealed to the public

a golden segway was on futurama once. It was a really short blip showing fry and bender running into each other and falling off. Couldn't have lasted more than 5 seconds, and i can't recall which episode.
