Erinn,

BE sure to bring your sun block and short sleeve clothes. You are going to love Arizona in March.

[b]I'm glad our team is going back to AZ this year! This was an awesome regional last year, and hopefully it will be even better this year. :)

Ryan,

The planning committee is attempting to make The Arizona Regional the most "user friendly" regional in the nation. Team 64 is dedicated to making the regional outstanding, once again.

On a sadder note: Ken L., you will be missed!

Our Hats Off Award goes to Team 60, Kingman, for bringing the machine shop on site.

Sanddrag,

As strong as your robot was last year, just hook it up to a trailer. It could pull your whole team to Phoenix.

On that note, there is simply one thing that could be better: Last year there was only one place a person could enter and exit the stands and it was not by the field. It was a long walk around. That was kind of annoying when you suddenly realized your team was up, but buy the time you got into the stands the match was half over.

Done that. A couple times. Well, not the trailer with the team on it but a pickup truck a couple times anyway. It really kills batteries though and puts a lot of stress on the drive train.

222

I am regretted to inform you that us 222 folks will not be attending the Arizona Regional this year. Last year we only attended this regional because we could not go to Nationals. We ended up with so many points during the season that we went to Nationals and won the team spirit award.

Arizona is too far away and too expensive for us to travel there from Pennsylvania!

This was so much fun last year, except the trip to the Grand Canyon when it was snowing and all foggy.

Look at my picture.......

Ryan Dognaux 07-11-2003 22:47

Ah sorry to hear about that :( 222's robot was awesome last year, you guys were good pit neighbors.. I think you were next to us, right??

And the Grand Canyon is awesome... at 5:00 in the morning when it's really cold and the sun is rising.

sanddrag 07-11-2003 22:51

Looks like we're going to have a team from Mexico and another from Canada at the Phoenix event this year.

We're glad somebody thinks so!;) The Gila Monsters aren't too shabby themselves and we love to play with both you and Kingman. It just wouldn't be a season without some Vigorous Interaction with you guys.

When we took a vote as to what regional besides Southern California to go to, Phoenix won by a large margin. In spite of numerous team relatives in the vicinity of San Jose and Sacramento. On the other hand, maybe it was because of the relatives. Either that or your Regional Committee is doing something right. I know we had a great time last year.

Thanks - Can't wait to do it again

Thanks for the kind words... I'm looking forward to another fantastic event this year - I know we'll all have a great time - Committee is really working to make it even better than last year. :yikes: The Team Social is going to be at the Arizona Science Center again - everyone seemed to love it last year, got loads of positive feedback.

Not to many spots left, hope everyone gets to come that want too!

C'mon. Where else can you ride a bicycle in a loop? :)

Only one thing could improve the Arizona Regional, and that's more techno :) You can never have enough techno music.
