We are working on those types of things right now - How many of you teams out there would like to have Jesse McGuire come back to play the National Anthem again? He did a great job last year and was awesome at the Nationals.

Give us your feed back!

Our team members say "yeh, that was COOL!"

I think a better question would be who doesn't want Jesse McGuire to come back and play the National Anthem, and you would probably get no replies on that one :) Definately get him back if at all possible.

Team 1011 absolutely loved Jesse Mcguire last year!

When Jesse McGuire hits that high note toward the end of his performance it sends chills throughout my body, the good kind.

Truly remarkable. Absolutely fantastic!

Last year's Arizona regional was the best experience I had in first. Sure, our hotel wasn't that great, but everything else was great! It is said that an image is built by a first impression. Arizona was my first regional and it was, as said before, a wonderful time. The announcer was great, the people were great, and the lunch area was great (especially 234's frisbees :D ). 696 was also nice enough to invite us to Hardrock Cafe. I hope to see all of you again in Arizona (if I go, not certain yet).

I'm sure we'll find some more to give away this year... :)

I belive I forgot to maention one important improvement for the coming year:

Last year, there was no Coca-Cola (and hardly any water or Sprite) at the concession stand until the afternoon on Saturday. There was only one vending machine that was on the complete other side of the stadium. Also, the one concession place was dirty and didn't have much of any food, and none that looked "new."

I'm sure this problem is not just Arizona but I just wanted to point it out just in case no one else did.

Daniel Brim 16-11-2003 03:18

I'd have to agree about the food and drink situation. I also remember hunting for water fountains. I even got pretty dehydrated on Friday. Looking for a new perspective when I wasn't needed in the pits, some teammates and I searched the dome, searching for water fountains in the process. I believe we found one or two by the restrooms, but that was all. Oh yeah, I never did buy food from the concession stands.

It's always a good idea to have some water on you because you'll get dehydrated if you don't drink any - especially out in Arizona.

Your Water Bottle Source - http://www.nalgene-outdoor.com/

Anyone who has one can say these are easily the most durable water bottles made.

I <3 Lexan and other products like it.

Daniel Brim 17-11-2003 10:48

I've seen a Nalgene be hit by a car an not break. They're pretty insane, but expensive too.

The location of the Kick-off is still TBD

When a location is finalized the proper information will be furnished to FIRST and will also be posted in this thread.
