Leaflets in Iraq

So with this war in Iraq you hear on the news that US Military forces are always dropping leaflets over the country side of Iraq in hopes or persuading some of the resistance forces. Then my brother found the United States CENTCOM (Central Command) website and their galleries.

under there they also have pictures of some (maybe all) of the leaflets they have dropped over Iraq.

Leaflets

I dont know, I just thought this was interesting.

gotta love propaganda

These remind me of those WWII and cold war propaganda posters and leaflets... same "1930-1950's" look.

Yeah, these have more of a purpose now though. Back in WWII and the Cold War there was an emphasis on a government and people behind the enemy, whereas now we understand that it's generally just a select few maybe without a government. If only one civilian life was saved because of the many leaflets dropped, then those millions of leaflets were worth it.

I love that poorly done Sadam image... hey, that's my new AVITAR! :D :p

Also, I can do better photoshop with my eyes closed while eating Thanksgiving dinner!

we can see it with our satallites, but we can't find it on the ground. HAHA!

I had to do some of my own editing!
