MPLAB quirks

Have you noticed any other funny little habits, like how it makes a file called "untitled.mpw" every time you hit "close workspace"?

I do have to break my habit of double-clicking on source lines. I had to disable breakpoints. I just have to get used to the quirks of this new editor.

I have given up on MPLAB and instead have moved to VC++ 7, which does everything except Debug (which I don't find very useful in MPLAB anyway)

Yeah I found that annoying at first, but you can change that.

Goto Edit -> Properties.

m0rph3us, how do you get VC++ to work with the special compiler and linker?

I just changed the place where VC++ will look for the compiler and linker executables. Basicly everything is the same except the code looks nicer and I already know all the keyboard commands.

I'm also working on integrating the IFI loader as a plug-in too so I don't have to deal with pressing download every time.
