Firstcad Library Will Be Back

Hi,

I just wanted everyone to know that my parts library will be back shortly. There seems to be some confusion on the part of my service provider as to who is responsible for domain renewal. I pay these guys money to take care of this stuff but they seem to be dropping the ball. Anyway, I hope to have it cleared up shortly and I'm sorry the site has been down so long.

The old parts will be there and I'll post some new parts between now and kickoff. I was a coach on a FLL team this year (placed 5th in the Alabama state competition this past weekend) so I've been a little pre-occupied. Anyway, I'll re-direct my efforts to updating this library.

I made an offer to FIRST to coordinate the library with this years game by I still haven't recieved a response. FIRST, if your listening, the offer still stands.

If anyone has a request for a part, I'm open to suggestions.

Since you're open to suggestions, maybe you could take a look at the Bosch 3360 (drill) motors from last year--I'd CAD them myself, but ours are in the robot in an inaccessible spot, and the robot is currently 150 km away.
I know you typically work in Inventor, but would it be possible (if you can find the time) to spin off a version in IGES assembly format?

I'll start with this motor and I'll publish as many models as I can in IGES. Thanks Tristan.

BTW you can get to the FirstCadLibrary at http://66.78.7.229 on a temporary basis.

Thanks, Ed.
It's hard getting Pro/E 2001 to read anything but IGES (and native files, of course), so I appreciate it.
