Bug? Can't seem to delete any of my PMs
 

Went to clean up my PM box today... however, every time I want to delete a message, it brings me to a screen that says, "Invalid Private Message specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster"

The first time I didn't notice to click that little check box marked "To delete this message, check the appropriate option below and then click the 'Delete this Message' button" but the second time I did and got the same message.

Tried some more things... it appears I CAN delete from the List Messages page (the page where are your messages are listed on one page). The deletion problem is only occuring when I try to delete a message from the screen where you view the message.

Can anyone confirm this problem?


[Edit] In a previous thread, it was stated that Opera has some problems with the new version of vB. Tried deleting the messages in the above-mentioned way in IE and got the same error.

I also noticed my Inbox says:
Inbox contains 2 messages.
You have 47 messages stored, of a total 250 allowed.
Whats the difference between having messages stored and containing 2 messages... the wording seems to imply its the same, but I don't have 47 messages in my inbox. Seems like a case of Brandon trying to slip CD's number into some vB property, but what does it mean "stored"? Perhaps the wording on this could be rephrased.

Yes that is a bug. Until the next version comes out, you will have to delete via the list, and not the individual message itself.

The numbers mean your inbox contains 2 new messages, 47 in total (including sent messages). If they don't rephrase it in the next version, I will take care of it.

Ah sent messages... alright, that makes sense. It's just that I saw 47 and, knowing you like to throw that number in here and there, assumed something was funny.
