**IMPORTANT FIRST EMAIL BLAST**/Championship Hotel Reservation System to Open Decemb
Season's Greetings Teams!
FIRST is pleased to announce the opening of the hotel reservation system for the Championship in Atlanta effective Saturday, December 20, 2003 at noon EST. Our hotel Partner, THS, has thoroughly inspected the package hotels and feels confident in recommending them based on price/value, location, safety and service. The packages are available for three or four night stays in single, double, triple and quad occupancy. We are offering only two price tiers, full-service hotels and mid-service hotels. Please review the offerings closely as the distance from the venue may vary significantly. However, all hotels can be reached from the airport using the MARTA system and are within walking distance of the competition site. All packages include breakfast and lunch the three days of competition. Some hotels do not have available breakfast on site so FIRST currency will be provided to get breakfast at the stadium. All lunches will be from the regular venue concessions. Other details are available under the FAQ section of the THS website www.ths-frc.com. FIRST has worked hard with our partners to provide the best possible package value to our teams. Happy Holidays to all! Bob Hammond Director of Robotics Competition |

Wouldn't it be a nice and useful thing to let us get a look at the packages before the 20th?
...also, presumably, does this mean that there's no special team party-like event taking place this year? |
