Autonomous
I hate to be the bearer of bad (or good) news to all my fellow computer nerds, but it appears that autonomous code will certainly be back. Look at the revised Edu RC code, specifically the "user_routines.h" header file. Notice anything near the bottom? Perhaps, near the bottom, a little:
void User_Autonomous_Code(void); /* Only in full-size FRC system. */ This means a)They're probably preparing the Edu RC code to be used for the FIRST competition b)Autonomous will be back c)FIRST is either getting careless and posting too much, or intentionally gave us this clue. and d)Everyone's guesses and fears were right. The only question now is when autonomous will occur. Must see if I can find that in the code anywhere. [edit]Code can be found fere: http://innovationfirst.com/FIRSTRobo...2003-12-15.zip [/edit] :D |
Re: Autonomous
Man, I don't know WHAT I'd do without insider info like this. Thanks a billion. Now my team can start designing early! hahaha :D

Re: Autonomous
Okay...I dont know what I thought when I was posting this but...stating the obvious was not my intent. What I meant to do was show the programmers what the likely syntax was for the autonomous code, going by the EDU RC default code. Here it is:
void User_Autonomous_Code(void); /* Only in full-size FRC system. */ |
Re: Autonomous
Oops, sorry about that. Didn't really realize the intent of your post I guess since I am not a programmer. :p I thought you were just saying autonomous would be back but I see what you really meant now. Anyway, that could be some helpful news to those who understand it (unlike me).
