NASA TV Webcast Sites

I remember seeing a list of URL's of places that were webcasting the NASA TV feed. If I remember correctly some of them were broadcasting at much higher resolutions (and bandwith) than the direct NASA webcast. I've searched and searched and have not been able to find them. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

After a little search, I found that team 115 Monta Vista HS have a list of broadcast links on their website: http://www.mvrt.org/html/broadcast.php

Team 188 also have a similar list of links at their website: http://www.team188.com/2002/videos/nasatv.shtml

I believe what you are looking for is the Yahoo broadcast of NASA TV. I remember them because they were 300k+, and worked better than the real player stream I was getting from NASA's website.

NASA Television can be found on the satellite AMC 9, Transponder 9C, 85 degrees west longitude, vertical polarization downlink frequency - 3880 MHz, Audio is at 6.8 MHz.

We picked it up on our giant, old sat in our backyard that came with our house. Took me a while to find it, though.

Re: NASA TV Webcast Sites

For the future, if you don't have NASA TV on your local cable system you can usually get your local community access station to carry it for a special event. They're legally required, and usually very happy to do this. I don't know about other cities, but last year we got Hartford and West Hartford CT to broadcast the kickoff on local cable.

Re: NASA TV Webcast Sites

Thanks for the tip! I and alot of my team also sent in suggestions to our cable carrier to pick up the station.

Re: NASA TV Webcast Sites

does any one know how I can save the kickoff to play at a site without internet access?

Right now its in windows media player, streaming from the nasa site, does anyone have an AVI, divx, or xvid version? that I can copy to a disk?
