Re: Encrypted Rules are now available

Anyone notice how much different the rulebook structure is? Most notably the two sections after the introduction before the game, communication and arena?

Good Luck

Probably communication regards contacting FIRST, it would make sense for this to be the second section as it is always such an issue. And the arena is just the section on the playing field I would imagine, so it's not that different, just looks like the renamed a few things, and broke up the old game section into the arena and the tournament.

I just found it odd because the FIRST playingfield has never been so complicated that its needed its own section. Its always been a subsection of the game portion of the rules. Though, it is probably just re-organization.

So, if someone WERE to crack the code, would it be a sign of Gracious Professionalism to actually TELL everyone else?

the code is case sensative and is recomended to cut and paste into the password field. There isnt a visable option to turn off the security after you have input the password for future referance so i would say to get the unencrypted version.

Actually, if anyone has the adobe acrobat professional edition (not the reader) then there is a way to turn off the password needed each time.

Goto (in the file/edit/view toolbar) Document --> Security --> Display Restrictions and Security and then select no security from the security method pull down menu.

there should be something similar in adobe reader =)

There is NOT a way to save anything in adobe reader.

So go download the unencrypted files. They are downloading fine.
