T-Shirt helps for teams

1 Attachment(s)
Team 1324 has worked a deal for with one of our sponsors to help out FIRST FLL and High School teams that need shirts for the comming season. The local uniform printing shop agreed to help all teams by cutting out the extra costs associated with getting uniforms. Here's the deal we worked for you:
1. full color prints, no restraints on numbers of colors or design
2. No minimum order of shirts
3. No set up fees for your designs
4. Excellent quality shirts (no seconds)
5. colors won't wash off or designs crack
6. FRONT AND BACK PRINTS FOR THE SAME PRICE AS ONE SIDE ONLY PRINTS!
7. And 25 cents off the price of each shirt for Rookie teams (as long as they notify the supplier at the time of the order).
Way Cool Eh!
I've attached a full discription and their contact numbers.

That would be great, but they only have white shirts available. DO you happen to know if you can purchase your own blank shirts and have them do it?

Even if only for white shirts, it'll be a great help to teams with a small budget. I'll make sure to pass the message on to the Georgia teams. Thanks for working out this deal for everyone.

Wow. We've had our shirts done by Guildan for the past 4 years. I don't know how much cheaper they will be because of shipping (to Toronto) and handling costs. White shirts are ok, but we're looking into having orange shirts this year, so we might have to stick with Guildan.

That's an awesome price for white shirts, but if anyone is looking for other colors we might be able to help.

We got black, red, and yellow shirts last year with color prints on both sides for ~$10 a shirt.

If anyone is interested in that deal I can give our supplier people a call and see if that's available for non-local teams.

That is a pretty good price, and it applies to all teams?
Now we just need some skill at designing t-shirts that look better in full color.

If you (or anyone else) needs help with designing some shirts in vector (what most t-shirt places want) then I'd be glad to help out. :) Just PM me.

We've always gotten our shirts from a local shop that does alot of work at the school.

We've gotten colored shirts with 3 colors on the front, 1 on the sleve and 1 on the back for $7ish each.

Alot of local places do discounts for schools, or perhaps you've found another sponser. :)

Yes, they are willing to let you buy your own shirts. I haven't asked how much they are. They are willing to make "trades" though. Example- we recieved a $200 gift card from Walmart for the team, they will take the gift card in exchange for our shirts. It costs us nothing for our team, they get the recognition and we get really neat colors in our designed shirt. Christine

Hey, you can always ask for orange. The printer says that some colors are not as bright because the orange will show through lighter colors. But you can ask for one shirt with your logo and see what happens. C

Use your art classes and throw in a banana split reward for the best designs. There is always someone willing to help with the designs. put out a "call for help" and see what happens. C

Re: T-Shirt helps for teams

I can't help but make one quick comment. It looks to me like these are full color transfers. Which is nifty cause you can have a bazillion different colors and nice gradients and stuff. The only problem is that despite all the excellent washability and stuff, transfers tend to fade. We used them on a shirt once, and you wouldn't believe the different between a new shirt and a shirt that had been washed about 20 times. So take that into account if you go with this.

Re: T-Shirt helps for teams

yes, transfers offer better range of color, but screenprinting turns out best in the long run - it all depends on what you're going for.

www.customink.com

The Ultimate Frisbee team at my school used this for their team shirt. It works pretty well, and you just order the shirts offline...
We're not using this but it seems pretty easy for those who don't have local printing shop thingies...
It also has sweatshirts, hats, bags, coffee mugs...etc.
