Who is missing stuff from KOP?
 

We just checked our KOP and have found some things missing. The most important is the 40amp Maxi Fuse holder. How many other teams are missing items and are any missing some of the important pieces?

We are missing various stuff -- at least the maxi fuse holder and a servo.

I also didn't see the rotating pneumatic actuator, but I think you might have to order it separately.

this happened last year. Some parts were not available when the kits were assembled, and FIRST fedex'd em within a few days.

might be the same story this year - expect a team update or a bulletin on their message board in the next few days to address the misc loose ends.

The Maxi fuse block is a clear plexiglass block. It is completely different from last year's block. It is a standard part from a car audio system.

most of the time they do forget stuff, just make sure to check for EVERYTHING, and just tell FIRST and they'll send it.

We are missing some pneumatics hardware a servo and the maxi block.

As I posted in another thread, I think that the yellow battery is the edubot battery or you can use any 7.2v battery. The rotary cylinder demonstration was meant as an example of a cylinder you can use now that they loosened the pnuematic restrictions. You can now use any cylinder rated for 60psi. Also as a note for anyone missing components, FIRST states in the manual that they in low supplies of spare components. All missing or broken kit parts must be reported to FIRST by January 16th. Double check to make sure you didn't overlook them (The pneumatic stuff is hidden well in the tubing bag) and read the manual on how to report lost items.

We're missing an IR FET, in addition to some random mechanical parts. Our count is 7 individual pieces I believe.

If I am not mistaken, the Maxi Block was in the cardboard box.

Thats where we found ours, unless someone moved it over to there before I got to take a look in the kit

I know we(662) are missing a few parts from the kit completly and others it says we should have 8 and we have 6

1 servo, several pneumatic parts, others... happened last year too, they'll fix it.

We are missing the terminals bag, an IR FET thingy, resistors, a servo, some pneumatics stuff, and I don't remember what else.

Read Section 5.3.1 All instructions are listed on how to obtain missing or broken parts and get them replaced. Extra parts are at a real low this year, so we just please ask, make sure you look carefully for everything before faxing your list to FIRST looking for replacements. Teams only have until JAnuary 16, 2004 to determine what parts in the kit are missing and let FRCParts know. After that, it's just too late.
ALso, Keep looking at the FIRST web site for updated parts information such as spec sheets and a listing of what parts will be available at competitions.

Ditto for our team as well... Perhaps others are missing these same pieces and they will send a separate shipment with them. Can anyone else confirm these same items missing? The pnuematics stuff we're missing included the second Double Solenoid and some fittings.

Every take a second look for that 40 amp fuse block - it should be there it just looks completely different!

If you're missing parts, check out the 5.3.1.2 "New - Kit INventory" on page 8 of The Robot. To get your missing parts you need to print out a copy of The Kit, write your teams number on every page, check off what's missing, and fax it to 603-666-0043, attn: FRC Parts.

We are missing a whole bunch of stuff too. A servo, some spacers, and a whole bag....I think it was the window motor bag....one of the motor bags. We have to call FIRST tommorow, glad to hear we aren't the only ones. Its a big relief. :)

we are missing all of this stuff and more, the more including 2 motors, a lot of the spacers, feed-through terminal block, the back-up battery, and a lot of the items that were listed as Loose in the Red Container, as well as a few other things.

We're missing one of the PC boards for the current sensors.

Adding to the overall noise and to feel better after I post it.

We (360) are missing 1 servo, the maxi block (we looked for it, its just not there) And the precut parts for the plastic gear housing are all messed up. 4 of some zero of others.

Happy about getting the window motor connectors this year (we didn't last year)

• 1 servo
• 1 master link
• 1 half link
• 1 IR LED
• Some various phumatic parts
• Something to plug up the big yellow ball after it is blowen up
• Various spacer seals
• 1 solenoid valve
• And, most importatntly, a rubber band :yikes:

And we have too many...

• 2 3/4'' aluminum spacer pipe

Our 40A fules holder was in the Software box. (If I recall correctly)

That box also had a couple of sprockets and the schematic for building the beacon.

We don't have the materials to program yet, looks like we'll be using a 3rd party compiler.

We are missing 43 items total. Lots of the same items that other people are mentioning too (servo, master link chain, IR beacon, all but two kinds of spacers, solenoid valve.....list goes on). I guess FIRST will have received quite a bit of faxes come Friday.

i only had time to check in the red crate today and im missing a servo and a bearing plate

question: the white LED's, does everyone have just the bare leads, not the longer wired and housing with them? mine are just plain old led's no extra thing like the amber or green

yeah it seems as if everyone is missing a servo.. so are we.. and both 2 inch gear things...umm i dont know what they are , but theyre fat and come in the same bag as the chain

We are missing our C programing stuff and a loose bag containing the sprokets and many other importANT PARTS. How do why go about notifying first?

We are I beleive (I haven't double checked yet) but preliminary counts include a 40 amp maxi (may have been found I'll have to check with my mentor who did some extra digging) and a servo motor (thats all I know of electrically) and I know we are missing the servo for a fact, as well as other odds and ends pieces. :ahh:

Please help me figure out, maybe some of this stuff is attached to other items so im not finding them. This seems like a lot to be missing... If there are a few things i can square away before bugging FIRST itd probably help them out.

We're taking time to review everything... other things are probably missing... for now, we could find the same 0-160psi Gauge for Norgren Regulator, Wika problem... :rolleyes:

-pneumatics kit, fitting, male run T 1/8 npt-1/4" tube. SMC
-THe pneum. kit fittings straight and elbow that are x20 seem to be 2x10, with half black plastic half white/orange
-Servo (although it looks like everyone is)
-one of the gearbox pillow block half
-need to double check on maxi block, didnt see it, but might have been looking at the wrong thing.
-the double solenoid seems to be in 2 big and 4 small pieces, is this normal?
-when they say '2' under double solenoid, do they mean the two pieces, or two solenoids?

Here are pictures of ALL of our pneu. parts, is this what other people have? Specifically the stuff on the right in the wide shot. Also, what's that other black thing, flat, about 1cmx2cm, thin, 3 holes in it?

I think we got a bit lucky! We got TOO MUCH in our kit!
We have 2 sensor bags, our spacers are the wrong amount (too many) of each. I know we aren't missing anything big... the plug for our yellow ball. But most of its there, just some odds and ends. Oh, and I think we're missing a single solenoid.

yea, we at team 665 is missing two middle motor mounts. FIRST gave us two extra rear instead. go figure. we were wondering if anyone would like to trade with us.
