I was wondering how fast of a computer is good to make the 3D animations?

Fast...

As fast as you can get...

To make the animation, you can use almost any speed computer, rendering is a different story....

Generally, you would like your computer to have at least 128mB of RAM, and a 500 mHz processor....

If you have a Windows NT or Windows 2000 network you can render the animations from, the machines can be slower, as you can split the rendering job and send pieces to different computers.

P.S. You can render on any computer above 100 mHz, but it will generally take 2 days to render a 30 second animation...
