Ball Chute Trigger

How exactly is the ball shoot triggered (allowing the balls to fall)? It appears from the diagrams that its a piece of metal that flips down, but will it flip back all the way down to the vertical again, or stay horizontal?

Yes, that's about right... It's just the bar on the front that simply flaps down on a hinge letting the balls roll out...
