Rule <G05> vertical pipe structure?
 

Has the configuration of the vertical pipe structure surrounding the ball tees been released? I'm wondering how much room we :cool: have to reach behind the bonus balls without losing 25 pts.

I believe you can reach off the field as far as you want (as long as you dont touch the foor or the spectators in the stands :c)

The only restiction I see in the rules is you have to reach through the pipe openings, not around them.

More than likely, this will be a referee call. Q&A has clarified that while a robot may expand outside of the imediate tee area, it still must be safe, or your robot will be shut down for safety, since I'm certain there will be people walking within feet of the tee areas.
