Team 60 is scaring me...

WOW! THAT IS IMPRESSIVE!

You look great.

Ford-Kingman is going to be a real playing in 2002 that much is certain.

hmm... i cant figure out how they grab the goals... position that is.

That robot brings a tear to my eye it is so beautiful. Team 60 has produced another great machine. Only hope they practice driving more this year.

Ken Leung 09-02-2002 00:16

completely terrified...

I was completely terrified when I first say the pictures... And I still am, but just not as much anymore.

Through out the years of competing with them at California regionals, this 2002 robot of theirs are the most intimidating one by far.

I also heard that the pictures posted earlier were from a while ago, meaning they have as much driving practice as they will need.

At least right now I am little more prepared in planning strategy if teams are going against them... It's going to be tough, but not impossible.

very nice, very clean, hehe wait till u guyz see ours, its really nice

Ken Leung 09-02-2002 00:41

Oh yeah, forgot to say, to Team 60:

GREAT JOB! This robot looks really really cool. No matter who win or who lose, this year is still going to be a great year!

Looking forward to see you at competition!

Is it me or does it look like the arm can spin the goals around the body?
That would be really cool. Frightening, but cool.

Wetzel it can. look in the center there is a drill motor there to turn it.
I want there team to start posting. I saw a member named team60 on but they wont post so i say. Come on!

ReijiH 09-02-2002 03:29

yeah, real scary:/

I suppose those window motors and the nuematic pistons are to push against the goal's top board and gain additional traction through their weight? Now that's something formidable....with the weight of two few hundred pound goals and four motors driving it, it'd be real tough to push that robot around.

DaringCommander 09-02-2002 17:06

That is a defensive feature of there bot. It spins the goals so you can't get near it to steal the goals without getting pounded.

Yep that's right. Theoretically we can spin at 30 rpms

DaringCommander 09-02-2002 18:57

Gracious Professionalism out the window.

Does anybody but me think that their robot fits more under the category of "attack bot" then..."ANYTHING ELSE". I wanted to make a bully this year but we weren't allowed to. Not that that is why i'm complaining, we have a great robot, but that aren't you all thinking the same thing "If they get up to speed my robot is in many, many pieces". Goodbye gracious professionalism.

Wetzel 09-02-2002 19:05

I would call trying to take a goal away from them and geeting smashed 'driver error'...

Oh, and did they make a 'spare' or just repaint it?
Spare?
