Sprockets

Does anyone have any knowledge of a sprocket supplier that is easy to order from? We specifically need a 19 tooth #35 type A sprocket. Our team has already tried looking at smallparts.com, sdp-si.com, martinsprocket.com, grainger.com, globalspec.com, and bostongear.com (i think). all of these either haven't had type A #35 sprockets or, we don't know how our team, not being a company, can buy them, any assistance is appreciated.

try http://www.mcmaster.com or http://www.mscdirect.com these are both companies that supply sprockets and other useful robotic items.

If you go to www.motionmro.com, the website of Motion Industries, you can search for gears to match your needs. Motion Industries is a distributor, so they can order any of the gears listed on their website and sell them directly to you.

I quickly put in your #35 sprocket with 19teeth and found 10 manufactured sprockets. Martin sprockets is listed as one of the companies that supplies this sprocket, and its part# is 35A19. There are also others made by Martin, Browning, Dodge-Reliance, Boston Gear, and UST Inc. Once on their homepage, click on mechanical>Chain&Sprocket>RollerChainSprocket> and then your specs. Hope this helps.

Vince,
Give Martin Sprocket a call. We have worked with them in the past. They have been extremely helpfull. They even came to watch us compete at the Peachtree Regional Last year. If you continue to have problems contacting them let us know and we can put you in contact with the right people. Good luck!
