Who is Morena Baccarin - (oh wait thats the TV series version I think)

I believe she will be for the TV series and Movie if I'm not mistaken

Nothing official on a movie (although supposedly the script is done and Joss Whedon is waiting to hear from Universal). Anyhow, much like the Captain Janeway debacle from Star Trek Voyager, Inara was played by Rebecca Gayheart for the first couple days of shooting the pilot (the one those dunderheads at Fox decided not to air until it had already been canceled), then she backed out for unknown reasons. It was after that Joss Whedon found Morena Baccarin, so your answer is incorrect.
