If you're having MPLAB problems, LOOK HERE.

I've seen about 5 threads dealing with the same thing.

Issue #1 - USB to Serial Adapters
If you're having problems finding a driver
Look on the MPLAB CD
-or-
http://www.driverguide.com
(User=driver, password=all)
If you don't know the name of your hardware, we can't help you.

If you're using a USB to Serial Adapter and MPLAB crashes alot
Get a new or updated driver. There is a very high chance that is the cause.
(See above item for driver locations.)

Issue #2 - Compiling Problems
Library Not Found or Related Issue
Make sure your libraries directories are properly set.
Go to Project > Build > Project.
Set the 4th and 5th boxes to [Drive Letter]:\[Path to C18]\h for Include Path
[Drive Letter]:\[Path to C18]\lib for Library Path.

Syntax Error
PLEASE refer to your C book/website/good friend that knows it FIRST. DO NOT post a thread just to ask if you can use "short int." MicroChip makes these documents available for a reason.
Search CD for a list of C Programming materials.

Issue #3 - Anything Else
SEARCH.
SEARCH. SEARCH. SEARCH.
SEARCH.

or ask in this thread.

PLEASE stop posting the same question about this stuff OVER AND OVER.

Thank you. ;)
