Drawing on a cylinder

I am new to Inventor (7), I've spent about two days with it. I am trying to put a hole on the side of a cylinder, yes the curved part. I am wondering if there is a way to get the work axis so I can do this? Thank you very much for the help!

Re: Drawing on a cylinder

Expand the origin folder of the part and you will see different work planes. Click the Sketch button, then click one of the work planes and you will be able to sketch on it. Then use the rotate tool (and press spacebar to get the green arrows if you don't have them already) and rotate it to the favorable orientation for sketching.
