OI Help

I think I read somewhere that values can be printed to the operator interface. How do we do that?

Re: OI Help

There's a variable called User_Mode_byte in ifi_aliases.h. Whatever value you set it to will be displayed on the LED digit display after you press the "select" button on the OI a few times. You'll know you're seeing the user mode value when the first digit of the display is "u" (for "user," i guess). A warning: in user mode, the feedback LEDs won't work -- the eight pins for the eight bits of the user value are the same pins that control the feedback lights, so only one can be displayed at a time.
