Servo Motors

Anyone have the torque ratings for the servos provided in the kit?

Joe Ross 10-02-2002 20:14

42 inch-oz, although it has been said in the past that servo manufactures inflate their specs by 2x.

Edit: this is the stall torque, and it is also from memory.

Manoel 10-02-2002 20:39

Is this the stall torque?

Jon Lawton 11-02-2002 04:43

What the heck are you doing with servos that you have to worry about their stall torque?

Manoel 11-02-2002 10:28

Isn't it obvious? :)
Trying to replace a heavy motor with two servos, to perform a light-load task... :D

servos

if u are talking about the Hitec HS-300 servos, the torque is 42 inches per oz at 4.8v and 49 inches per oz at 6v. u can also goto the Hitec site which is www.hitecrcd.com . if u think that it is of any use.
