LoL well.. next year I'll be going to school at UCF. Where I havn't fully decided what I'll be doing.

I'll either be working with 1083 ( ya'll watch out.. )

Or be fully involved with working on like Florida FIRST or something..

Not quite sure

But I'll be at the competition either way.

our design makes it so that we cant pop those yellow balls by oursleves what happened was the are was low and the goal grabber was up i moved the are up and then another robot pushed us into the wall forcing the ball into the grabber, poping the first on, when i finally was able to chase down a second yellow ball they did the same thing again, i dont think it was us just a problem in the other teams gracious professionalism

This year's regional competition was awesome! Everybody's right--the teams were great! A special thanks to everybody for making it so awesome!

I can't believe how well we did--even when our robot flipped, bending our arm, and when other things went wrong...we persevered and did great! Plus we got the Judge's Award :ahh:

Amanda and Tytus were great drivers, and Daniel and David were awesome human players...ask anybody on our team, most can vouch for it--when Amanda and Tytus did one of the matches, we were actually talking about how when they get up there they become like one person. :p

Thanks to everyone for making UCF amazing. (Though was it really necessary for Flashback to yell "We love you, Kristina" while getting on their bus? *blushes*) I can't wait for nationals... Atlanta will never be the same.

Oh, I got the slideshow from Friday afternoon shortly after they showed it, so if it isn't posted yet, lemme know and I'll post it later (insanely slow connection at home, so I don't want to if it's not needed).

ottid to everything said about UCF. It was much better this year than it was last year. I thought the robots were awsome and also they seemed more durable this year. Not many robots that i saw were critically injured, (tho i wasn't in the stands for most of it) But for heatwave, great job at fixing your arm after it broke, (I was there for that)
And Swampthing, a big THANK YOU from S.P.A.M. in beleiving in us and picking us.
And to George and the Emoticons omni-drives rule!
Congrats to all who won awards and c u all in the carolinas and nats!

one thing that i realize about this year @ UCF was every single member of every single team in the pits were wearing safety goggles... which i think is very cool... one thing about it though... one of the volunteer was standing outside the pit asking everybody to wear safety goggles... i think that we all should be responsible of wearing safety goggles in the pits at all time and hopefully a volunteer doesnt have to stay infront of the pit ALL day to ask everybody to wear safety goggles next time...

I think this was the best thing FIRST has ever done. By doing this there was not the big crowds in the pits. The people that came into the pits were very kind and helpful. I know from the past there are those people that just don't care and stand around taking up space.

The people that had saftey glasses on you could ask for help and they most of the time knew what you were asking.

I also like that it did not rain this year becuase we were in those tents. I hope they find another way to house those robot better in the future.

One thing I did not like was they stop me from bringing in a bag of life savers. I need them becuase of all the yelling you have to do to talk. I can see food and drinks but life savers?

it was nice to see Gov. Bush and the other VP.
