Stool
 

Last year, one of our drivers used a stool so that she could see the robot she was driving. What's stopping people from using a stool (more like a ladder) of some kind that's on steroids, so to speak, so that they have an advantage as human player and can level the game somewhat to their advantage. Is this legal or does FIRST intend to adress this issue in one of their future updates? If not, imagine the kind of advantage a team could leg up over another team who fell short of thinking up something of the sort...

Um... Have you read the rules? They explicity say that this is ILLEGAL! Whoever let you use a stool last year mustve been doing some heavy drugs, because its always been illegal...

Cory (while blunt) is absolutely right. This is VERY explicitly illegal. Drivers can, under some circumstances, use stools in the case of a disability. Giving human players height advantages, however, has always been illegal.
