we use 4 motors take a look.

max 300rpm with 24-36 gear to the drive

quick with lots of power.

My team's 4 motor drive dragged a 190 pound student around on his stomach.

2 drill and 1 globe... 2 drill for drive, one globe as the trans. :) very light, very fast, very nice

Our robot Dorothy requires 2 Drill motors for drive and i think a window motor for a tether. she managed to pull 2 goals in a straight line but had a problem turning. one of the many problems we had with our drivetrain. next year will be a tranny with hopefully a stronger motor then the chalupa / drill motor
