Okay, so I read the TV Guide article on Survivor All-Stars, and I decided to put up some odds of my own. You'll see the castaway's name, the odds TV Guide gave them, my opinions on them, and the odds I gave them.

Chapera Tribe

Alicia TV Guide Odds: 2-1 Overview: Her physicality will probably take her to the merge… and then get her cut quickly. Eddie’s Odds:13-1

Amber TV Guide Odds: 50-1 Overview: I think she learned her lesson last time. Avoid Jerri like the plague. If she does that this time, she may very well take it. Eddie’s Odds: 1-1

Rob C. TV Guide Odds: 3-2 Overview: He played very well in the Amazon without being a jerk. He may want to tone it down though. Eddie’s Odds: 2-1

Rob M. TV Guide Odds: 12-1 Overview: Who? Eddie’s Odds: 12-1

Susan TV Guide Odds: 3-1 Overview: She’s Susan, inventor of the bad attitude. Now that I think about it, that may not be a good thing. Eddie’s Odds: 6-1

Tom TV Guide Odds: 12-1 Overview: As long as he keeps a feather out of his butt (::bad mental image::), Tom was my favorite from Africa. He keeps his wackiness, he may be entertaining to keep around. Eddie’s Odds: 5-3



Saboga Tribe

Ethan TV Guide Odds: 5-1 Overview: I’m going to be very discriminating against winners. Like they’re going to allow someone to win twice. Eddie’s Odds: 25-1

Jenna L. TV Guide Odds: 8-1 Overview: Be nice. Actually, in this game, it may very well pay off. Eddie’s Odds: 4-1

Jerri TV Guide Odds: 40-1 Overview: I like to think of myself as a nice person, so I’ll be nicer than TV Guide. Not much nicer, but then, how nice can you be making odds on Jerri? Eddie’s Odds: 30-1

Rudy TV Guide Odds: 1-2 Overview: He should’ve won the original game. But despite his Navy SEALness, that may play against him. For some odd reason, I don’t like his chances. Eddie’s Odds: 11-1

Rupert TV Guide Odds: 6-1 Overview: Everyone’s favorite big man is back. And if the treachery is low this game, they won’t be getting rid of him any time soon. Eddie’s Odds: 3-1

Tina TV Guide Odds: 10-1 Overview: I’ll point you in Ethan’s direction. Eddie’s Odds: 25-1



Mogo Mogo Tribe

Colby TV Guide Odds: 9-5 Overview: And TV Guide likes him why? Yes, he should’ve won in Australia, but in my book, that puts him in the same boat as Rudy. Except much more of a physical threat. Eddie’s Odds: 16-1

Jenna M. TV Guide Odds: 10-1 Overview: See Ethan. See Tina. She may be well worth keeping for the looks, but that’s about it. Eddie’s Odds: 24-1

Kathy TV Guide Odds: 5-2 Overview: She got royally screwed in the Marquesas. The one castaway I’m not too sure about. She played very well the last time, and barring any major disaster, she has a decent chance. Eddie’s Odds: 5-2

Lex TV Guide Odds: 20-1 Overview: He was lucky he got as far as he did in Africa. He has that “physical threat” bullseye hanging on him, and that creepyness factor doesn’t help much. Eddie’s Odds: 18-1

Richard TV Guide Odds: 17-1 Overview: He invented the way people the next six seasons would play the game… and that prettymuch means everyone else has his playbook. Then there’s the whole “fat and naked” thing, which is a real odds killer. My hometown favorite, but even I don’t like his chances. Eddie’s Odds: 20-1

Shii Ann TV Guide Odds: 25-1 Overview: She would’ve won Thailand. Then they decided to delay the merge (although the look on her face was priceless). I personally like her chances this time. Her “enemies are enemies” attitude should hold well. Although may I suggest laying off the chicken giblets? Eddie’s Odds: 7-5

here my opinion, my post isnt going to be as comprehensive as the one above ...

first, i think that jon from last season should come back (the one who lied about his grandma dying - that was pure brains and strategy ... and i loved it) .. i want this because him up against rob in terms of strategy would be awesome to watch .. .. however this wont happen

My favourites:
Alicia - i liked her strength, her attitude, pretty much everything about her ... but i think her strength will be her downfall

Ethan - extremely nice, loved him to death, i think hell make it to the top three and then be voted out because of his niceness and no one will want to take him to the final two

Tina - she was such a mom , and i liked that ... but i dont think she will win twice

Colby - i liked how he played the game last time ...

Well, two of my longshots are out. I was kinda hoping to see more of the Rudy/Rupert duo too...

I think they really shoud get rid of the guy that likes to go around naked. (If he has already been voted off, good.) That guy really creeps me out. :mad:

Yeah... Richard is still there. It's sad the way Jenna left though (even though I avoid spoilers like the plague and still knew that was going to happen).

Either way, 3 of my longshots are now gone.

I haven't seen past the 3rd episode, unfortunately. One of my favorites is out...I was also really looking forward to seeing more of the Rudy/Rupert alliance. So... here's to Rupert (yay!) and Hatch (not likely, but yay! anyway) Hopefully they haven't been kicked out in the weeks I've missed...

Okay, it's been awhile since I've posted to this. We've lost Rich (oh come on, even I knew he was going the first chance possible), Sue (that whole thing is screwed up), Colby (I was also pretty sure he'd be gone before a merge), and Ethan. We're out of winners, and it's still anybody's game. I'll re-do my odds after tonight's episode. It's time to merge. Or is it...?
