Question about buying electronics

I'm in charge of ordering parts for my team, and yesterday one of the engineers came to me asking me to go and buy another Victor speed controller...

The problem I found was that you cannot spend over $300 on electronics, and over $100 for anyone device

The victors sell for $115

you get 4 in the KOP, but the electronics diagram FIRST profides shows 9 victors...

so are you only allowed to use the ones in the KOP???

Re: Question about buying electronics

You can have as many Victors as you want. I swear some of the robots I saw last year had 10 of them...

no, you can buy as many Victors and relay Spikes as you want - they dont count towards the $300 electronics limit, they only count towards the $3500 total robot limit

BTW you get them from InnovationFIRST.com

Is there restrictions on buying more solenoids for your robot?
