3 Questions!!! (2/2/04)
 
Hi all, here are today's 3 Questions...

1. What type of Speed Controllers were used for the robots in 1997?

2. Name 4 robots that had the ability to steal balls out of the goal in 2000 that were in the elimination rounds at the National Championship.

3. What robot used a suction cup on a tether to secure the ball in the 3 point rail in 1998?

Sorry about the lack of standings, I hope to do so tonight depending on when I get out of class. Crazy weekend with the Patriots winning the superbowl and all...you know how it is ;)

2. 131 - Chaos, 47 - ChiefDelphi, 25 - Raider Robotix, 45 - TechnoKats (we had the ability, although we were less competent at doing it compared to these other three)

I am going to try my luck on this question:

Team 16, 25, 47, and 131. 16 had a roller that could steal ball from the side of the goal, 25 had an arm extended from the bar to the top of the goal, 47 had a basket that could get balls from the top of the goal, and 131 had a lift with a little arm that take balls from the top of the goal.

3. It was probably 16, but I'm going to guess 175 Buzz Robotics just to be different. Plus, they started with a smiley inside their suction cup one year so.. :-)

3. 16 - they could put 2 on the rail by doing this.
