Odemetry and Tracks

Has anyone had any success with odemetry and tracks? Just wondering before I spend too much time on it.

Do you mean precision odemetry with a track drive?

My team abandoned track drive systems 8 years ago... Too many problems...

As far as using shaft encoders to detect movement, it depends on if your tracks slip.
