superflous bling.. correctly spelled:
superfluous bling.. and it's dictionary.com entrys:

su·per·flu·ous - Being beyond what is required or sufficient.
bling - 1 entry found for bling.
bling

BLING: in Acronym Finder
--
and the acronym is:
BLING - Bladed Ring

Congrat's. You have a better than needed bladed ring.
Good work.

Without the sarcasm towards the comment..

Super neat.

This machine is amazing. It could double for a work of art. You guys should hang it on the wall when the season is over.

That just might help a team get to the bar! But you would need a lot of helium to lift 130 lbs. Unless you stay way under that limit?!?!

Re: pic: 781 - Teaser1

Are there any rules that says the robot must remain in one piece? If not, you could drive under the bar, push a weight off the robot, and float to the bar...or just make a small hook that is carried by a helium containing object to the pole and use a winch? Is helium a harmful element due to flamability?

Helium isn't flammable. In reality you would need a lot of helium to lift the robot.

ok, number 1: there are many rules that say you robot has to stay in one piece.

number two: helium isn't flammable.

that being said, looks amazing

NICE!

But have you tried climbing with it?

It looks like you went with the big wheels(12 inch?) to climb the platform, and it looks like your driving with the 36 inch side forward. I'm assuming you're robot will be pretty bottom heavy as to not flip when hitting the platform...

But I suppose going with the 36 inch side forward will increase ball control and reduce friction when turning...come to think of it, maybe we should have done that!

Of coarse that's just speculation...

Anyway, as I said before, NICE!
