I believe what makes a FIRST team stand out so much in the crowd of other FIRST teams as that there are so many different ones. We all express ourselves with different colors, and all have pride in those colors which make us stand out amongst the crowd.

/me is partial to blue and yellow

Absoltuley. It isn't about the color you wear, but the person wearing the shirt.

And if you really want a thread about this, I would suggest that you can't vote for your own.

Blue is the best color... however it needs to be a regular blue. None of those weird blues.

Re: Best team shirt Color?

Our team shirts are royal blue. I personally like green and blue or a combination of the two. The first year our team shirts were black with a silver design which looked good close up but our team didn't really stand out when at competitions next to other teams. The only thing we found going with the black was you could work on the robot in the pits and get grease on you and it would never show. :D Of course that also worked against you if you had grease on you and didn't know it and put on your jacket or got in your car and spread the grease to everything else. :ahh:

Um...if we all voted for our own color that really wouldn't get us anywhere...

Just vote for someone else's shirt and be happy. And it doesn't have to be for a team - just a color! :)

Personally I've always liked the darker colors (navy, maroon, etc..) but there are colors that are out there that have an intresting color combination! :)

I've always been a fan of just about any shirt the Technokats wear... I like the blue and red combination. Orange stands out pretty well, too. I am of course, partial to black and white, though :p I think our shirts stand out and are very distinctive because of the contrast between the black shirts and white letters. I know I'm cheating a bit by mentioning my own shirt, but I do like ours, and I did mention other colors first.

Blue shirts all the way!

But it really doesn't matter. If I couldn't have our blue shirts, I'd pick lime green or something. :)
